Using Cartoons Your Communications -- Sept. 25 Lunch Program

It’s no joke that humor is a great way to reach an audience. Add cartoons, and you’ve made the message fun and memorable!

Join Denise Reynolds, president of Outside the Lines Creative Group, LLC and nationally-syndicated cartoonist Jenny Campbell as they discuss their work developing innovative cartoon campaigns that are used for internal and external communications. During this interactive session, Denise and Jenny will collaborate with attendees as they demonstrate the process of creating a cartoon mascot and putting that character to work in a couple of cartoon panels. They’ll also share examples of how organizations use cartoon mascots to help deliver messages that employees often ignore. Benefits, wellness and safety messages have more appeal when they appear in cartoons!

Join us on September 25 to see how cartoon characters can make a marketing campaign more engaging. The program will be held at the Educational Service Center 6393 Oak Tree Blvd South, Conference Room F, Independence, OH 44131. Networking and lunch begin at 11:30am, and the presentation, including time for questions and answers runs from noon – 1:30pm.

Early-Bird Registration Available. Tickets are limited, so register now! Early-bird registration pricing will be available until September 14, which includes a boxed lunch, will be $10 for IABC members, students, and professionals-in-transition, and $15 for non-members. Early-bird registration pricing will be available until September 14. After September 14, pricing will be $15 for IABC members, students, and professionals-in-transition, and $20 for non-members.
